If you take a picture with the wrong camera settings, you can use a specialized application to correct it. Certain programs offer too many options than you actually need and you may spend some time until you finish your adjustments. With its smartly designed interface, Pholor provides a faster and easier solution. You can use it to make numerous adjustments, without switching between different windows or navigating through countless menus. It supports batch processing and it works with JPEG, TIFF, as well as RAW images.

The software is available in different editions, such as Express, which is free, Home, Professional and Enterprise. Pholor Enterprise provides the largest number of features, while the Express version comes with basic adjustment options. Alternatively, you can opt for the trial version, which includes all features and you can use it without any restrictions, for 30 days.

The interface has an interesting design, which makes it different from most windows you are used to. Aesthetics is not the only feature that Pholor has to offer. The window's layout makes it easier to locate and edit your pictures. The core functions are located on the lower part of the interface, where you can switch between different sets of options. One of them displays options for exporting processed pictures, filtering the originals and more. You will also find a tree menu, which you can use to explore the folders on your hard drive.

Images are listed as thumbnails on the upper part of the window and you can preview them in the same area. The adjustments you make will affect the picture's preview instantly. Most settings are made with sliders, while some of them involve drop menus, check boxes or radio buttons. They are categorized in common adjustments, transformation options, details and split toning. Common adjustments involve changing the exposure, contrast or brightness levels, the picture's sharpness, clarity or dehaze, its color temperature, saturation and more.

With the program's transformation options, you can rotate your pictures, distort them or change their aspect ratios. Detail related options allow you to sharpen or blur images, change their chromatic aberration levels and perform vignetting adjustments. The Split category includes a large number of sliders, which can be used to adjust the picture's brightness, saturation and other values, by changing their blue, green, yellow or magenta ranges and others.

Pros

Pholor interface is modern and very comfortable. The software includes a very large number of adjustment options, which are neatly categorized on the same window. Most adjustments can be made with sliders and you can see their effects in real time.

Cons

The software's free edition does not include too many features. Thanks to Pholor's simplicity and efficiency, you can make any adjustments on your pictures as fast and easy as possible.
